Altitude Training, in conjunction with CDOT and the RMEC, is offering 4 training sessions in 2013. Class size is limited to 18 participants per session.

Altitude Training Associates is offering training at CDOT's outdoor BMP Facility in Denver for the 2013 season. Training sessions are all day experiences in the field; installing, inspecting & observing the various BMPs in action. The outdoor facility includes slopes with irrigation systems and swales fed by large water tanks, to simulate precipitation and run-off events. All of these sessions are being offered in conjucntion with the Stormwater Management and Erosion Control BMPs class at the Rocky Mountain Education Center (RMEC). The BMP Academy sessions will be conducted on Day-2 of the course, after the the Stormwater Management and Erosion Control class in the classroom. Registrations and tuition fees are being managed by the school. The course is listed as CETC-150A.

Training Participants:

  • It is required that you participate in the first day in the classroom to attend the BMP Field Academy on Day-2
  • This course is HANDS-ON, you will be actively installing BMPs in the field
  • Safety equipment is required. You are responsible for supplying your own: Hard hat, protective eye wear, and appropriate footwear. Work gloves are provided
  • You will be required to sign & submit a Release of Liability form, prior to attendance
  • You must be employed and be attending the training with the consent and permission of your employer
